California Content Standards
While your BASIS @ FAME teacher will be working with you to plan and implement your student’s standards based course of study, you may find it beneficial to review the California contents standards for your student’s grade level. To aid you in this task we have created documents by grade level which outline the standards that students should learn during the school-year. Students may be working on grade level standards or the standards that most specifically address each student’s level of ability. Some students may work on standards from more than one grade level at a time. Your Independent Study Teacher will work in collaboration with you to determine which standards should be included in the learning plan for your child. Please click on the links below for the standards for your child’s grade level in mathematics, language arts, social studies, and science.
