School Site Council

FAME is governed by a board of directors. In addition to our board, we also intend to establish a School Site Council for our Fremont and San Leandro programs. The councils will consist of a volunteer group of participants comprised of parents, teachers, community members, and high school students, all of whom will be voting members. Members of the school administrative staff will also participate as non-voting members.

The School Site Councils will be responsible for evaluating the schools programs to determine the effectiveness of the educational programs; for providing feedback to the governing board on the state of the school; and for recommending program improvements. They will work collaboratively with administrative staff and the school board to develop long term plans and provide direction for the school.

We are currently seeking to fill all positions for our school site councils. If your child is enrolled in FAME and you are interested serving on the council, please contact your school principal.
